While it’s uncertain when AI will replace office workers, it’s clear that AI can be a valuable assistant. Recently, on March 16th, Microsoft announced Power Platform Copilot.

This new feature within Microsoft Power Platform offers AI-powered assistance using GPT in Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Automate.

Developers can communicate with GPT, describing the app they want to create, and Copilot can build it within seconds and suggest ways to enhance it.

The new Power Platform Copilot by Microsoft is a game-changer for developers. With this tool, creating apps and processes has never been easier. With Power Apps, developers can describe the app they want to create in simple natural language, and the app will be built for them. This means that the tool will not only create the user interface code, but also generate the data table and business logic.

For example, a developer can ask Power Apps to “create a worker onboarding app, get new worker data and share training content and learning modules,” and Copilot will create the entire app in one go. In addition, users can customize the app by interacting with Copilot and even resolving problems that may arise during app creation.

Power Automate Copilot, on the other hand, allows users to create automated processes using natural language, regardless of the complexity of the task.

Copilot can optimize and update the process in a dialogue-based manner, making it possible for users to create any process using natural language without any Power Automate expertise. With this tool, developers can save time and effort while improving their productivity.

In addition to the aforementioned features, users can utilize the GPT model to generate text content on Power Automate Desktop. The newly launched Azure OpenAI service in AI Builder can also be utilized in Power Automate Desktop.

Power Virtual Agents has already incorporated GPT support. Users simply need to input a website address to connect their Power Virtual Agents to website content, knowledge bases, and other data, enabling GPT to generate answers.

This feature enables businesses to connect their bots to various product Q&A knowledge bases and knowledge bases to provide Q&A support to customers.
